life. The shop began modestly in 1980 with 200
bookmarks and a small collection of handcrafted
items, local books, and gift items. Now there is also a
perpetual book sale, with hardbacks selling for $3.00
and paperbacks selling for $1.00. This includes
Children's books which are only $1.00. Other popular
GIft Shop items include bookmarks, bookplates,
Louisiana postcards and playing cards, pencils, pens,
and book bags. Please stop by to browse. The
perpetual sale is located by both of the doors at
Jefferson St.
Also visit South Regional branch for their perpetual
sale, located near the circulation desk.
Look for Christmas books to be displayed beginning
